I will be leaving that last banana in the fruit bowl to go brown now.Delicious pancakes. I used coconut sugar instead of regular and vanilla oat milk and a big dash of cinnamon super fluffy and delicious! Only change is I used almond milk. I tried it on two pans, one with the exact directions (with coconut oil and a bit of butter), the other with half the amount of oil on a non-stick pan, both ways work great.I just had these for dinner. My family look for them each and every Saturday for the past 3 months, and I am eager to make them because they are so simple to make! I just had these with maple syrup, coconut and cinnamon on top. The mix only made about six big pancakes but those six were awesome. My husband takes them to work without syrup and eats them throughout the day. Another winner Jenn!Always delicious!
I can eat almost 4). These pancakes are the literal embodiment of the word “yummy”. These pancakes are phenomenal. My husband love them. !Absolutely LOVE these pancakes! The batter is a little runnier than described, but still makes light and fluffy pancakes. I know she says that in the recipe but I’ve had to get comfortable with even seeing little pockets of flour here and there in the bowl and resist the urge to fold a little more until they disappear. I will need to try more of these!Delicious! I used water instead of milk, but it was so good. NG.
!They are so good. Very useful, cost effective and healthy. Amazing!Best pancakes ever! 5/5This is a family favorite pancake recipe. I usually double the recipe so we have leftover pancakes. My kids loved it too!Made these using half of the ingredients and swapping sugar for Stevia. I had to slow my little man down he was shoveling them in so fast. They are not as moist, but definitely fluffy and taste great. I had two small bananas that needed to be consumed so I used them both rather than just one.I wanted to love these pancakes, but all I could taste was bits of raw flour. these always turn out fluffy and golden.
They’re crispy on the outside and buttery and soft on the inside.Operator error. I had some buttermilk that I used instead milk and used 2 bananas like some other reviewers.- so good.Definitely , a keeper- thank you!I made this this morning. Thanks for offering such great recipes. However, now I just make them on my electric griddle with non-stick spray. I’ve tried quite a lot of banana pancakes recipes but this one tops it.
Yum!Great recipe! So easy to make and light in texture. We make double or triple batches (depending on the number of bananas we have lying around) and freeze them for quick breakfasts during the week. VERY easy to make too!I am compelled to write a review! They were easy enough to make with my boys and we loved to do it together and we loved the pancakes. I usually skip breakfast, but the smell of it convinced me to have one and I’m glad I did. Perfect.I’ve tried your banana pancake recipe, and it was delicious! So easy and for the first time I think EVER, I didn’t burn pancakes! I’m sure I’m not your only European based reader who looks at all those cup measurements and sighs.Hi Eliza, I actually do have metric measurements for most recipes on the site. The only change I have made is substituting half of the flour with whole WHITE wheat flour.
Just a little extra touch This is the best banana pancake recipe by far (and I’ve tried a few!). Since our Honeymoon, almost 18 yrs ago, we’ve (my hubby & I) been looking & trying recipes for Banana Pancakes, which we ate for breakfast at the buffet every am at Sandals St. Lucia for our 8 day stay. !What are the calories and nutrional content for this recipe? I threw in some frozen blueberries into the mix as well. Brings us back to our Honeymoon at Sandals @ La Toc in St. Lucia! My 3 year old loves them, we drizzle a bit of honey and sprinkle someWow!
I made a lot of modifications, because that is just what I do.The muffins were very light and airy in texture (maybe more so because of the buttermilk and BP interaction) and the banana flavor was perfect.Wow, these were so good! I’ve enjoyed every recipe I’ve tried so far. I recommend this recipe to all pancake fanatics like myself. This is by far, our FAVORITE banana pancake recipe!! They are, hands down, the most delicious pancakes I’ve ever had! I used regular milk and baking powder I made. We will definitely make these again. They were amazing!
I topped it all off with maple syrup while whipping up some non fat Greek yogurt frosting for other who preferred.
They were quick to make with just ordinary household ingredients. One even used caramel sauce instead of syrup and loved them.Sunday is always pancake (or waffle) day in our house. It is simple, easy and it just tastes so good. Perhaps it was an error on my part. Got to a point where the kids were picking out the banana chunks. Delicious!!!!! !These were very easy but heavy in texture. Perfect banana pancakes for a lazzy sunday morning.Really good recipe, very fluffy on the inside. Try it again.Great recipe. Thank u sooo very much for the amazing recipe & for ending our 17 1/2 yr search!! I have whole milk on hand and salted butter. I also added sliced bananas to them as they were cooking.
