Paloma decides to offer her shares to Rodrigo and if he doesn't buy them, she'll sell to Mauricio. Alicia has second thoughts about Luna's character. Daniela hires Ignacio again and spends all her time with Rodrigo, who is angry about the accusation of kidnapping the baby.
Beatriz is astounded by Manuel. Luna is forced to stay by Rodrigo's side and her latest modeling job goes to Pilar. Luna and Margarita run into Paloma at the club and they find themselves spending the day together. The police investigates Ramiro's death and Mauricio gives testimonies. Carlos comforts Alicia. Esteban sells the project to Octavio and Luna becomes the new owner. Paloma tells Esteban that Luna is Victoria's daughter. Carlota is certain Luna is a gold digger. Alicia asks Lucio to drive her to the hospital to see the baby. Rodrigo packs his things to leave for Mexico and Esteban tells Paloma why.
Luna receives an expensive family ring. Rodrigo finds a way to explain to Luna his lack of knowledge regarding the hotel resort and the murder.
Luna and Octavio begin their inquiries in the village when Valencia spots them and observes Ramiro scarpering with the so-called murderer, who is released from jail. Mauricio gathers Luna's friends and tells them about Paloma's confession and the tempered will of Octavio. Paloma moves out and won't listen to Daniela, who starts work at Esteban's firm. Lucio meets with Perla. The police arrests Beatriz. Luna accepts to be Rodrigo's girlfriend and he tells her why Mauricio detests his Esteban. Daniela pushes for a quick wedding, held in the hospital and confides all her dark plans to Paloma, who is indifferent.
Rodrigo is happy things are going his way and shares with Daniela his wish to take Esteban's place. Rodrigo persuades Luna to allow his lawyer to take over Beatriz' defense.
The police gather Paloma and Susana in Mauricio's office to inform them of the latest evidence that came out.
Paloma moves in the mansion. Carlos shares with Alicia about his past love for Luna.
Mauricio draws a portrait of Luna to help track her down but when Daniela sees it, her jealousy forces her to tell a horrible lie. Rodrigo is bursting with happiness while Luna feels sick by the mere thought of intimacy with him. Andres visits Paloma in the asylum and she mistakes him for Rodrigo.
After the wedding at the church, everyone celebrate the glorious event in a restaurant.
Luna lives with her mother in a small village at the Caribbean beach. Ángel shows Luna his project for the land. The series was then developed into an American telenovela by the title of American Heiress.
Ignacio asks a huge sum from Daniela in exchange for his services. Luna is in mourning and Rodrigo brings her to Beatriz' flat. Daniela gets rid of Ramiro literally.
Daniela begs Paloma for forgiveness. Mauricio feels awful that the investigation doesn't move and about the upcoming wedding, so Alicia pushes him to take an interest in Alba. Fernanda confronts Pilar about her reckless and selfish behavior regarding Paloma. Luna seals the deal between the Lombardos and Jose in exchange for Mauricio's release. Luna has to pawn her medallion to raise the bail money for Beatriz. Valencia stakes out Daniela's house. Luna reluctantly agrees to live with Rodrigo until he recovers. Paloma is happy that Rodrigo won't go to Mexico and instead he shows up at the hospital to offer his support and friendship to Luna. Luna is visited by Susana, who begs her to break it off with Rodrigo in order for him to make up with Esteban. Mauricio tells to Beatriz and Jacinto everything about the photos and the visit from Rodrigo and Ricardo. Daniela is content with her minion Rodrigo being the heir of his father. Mauricio informs Luna about the accident. Luna does everything to avoid Mauricio in the house but Danny urges her to be sincere about her feelings. Daniela and Ramiro meet with Ignacio. Luna meets Lucio while being unable to find her aunt Beatriz' place and her cousin Margarita helps her to get a job.
Mauricio arrives in the village and learns the truth about Luna, the land and the inheritance. Rodrigo is satisfied to be married although his wife avoids any kind of intimacy. Andres declares his love to Paloma. Lucio helps Manuel with the painting.
Valencia gets a signed confession from Benito regarding the false arrest. Rodrigo torments Luna due to his unstable mind. Ramiro learns about Victoria's death. Bento confides in Jacinto signing the confession for Valencia.

Paloma drops by Danny's flat when Luna and Mauricio arrive to collect the baby. Now Luna has to take over her cleaning duties at a bachelor's flat. Lucio becomes Mauricio's driver and buys a lottery ticket for Manuel. Luna forgives Octavio and they go to Esteban to discuss the land. When Jacinto recognizes Ignacio in the street, he immediately contacts Mauricio. Carlos isn't happy with Lucio taking too much of Alicia's time. Rodrigo feels ashamed of his friends' snobby behavior. Paloma resumes trashing Luna in front of David and the others. Daniela is shocked to discover that Mauricio left for Cartagena. Jacinto tells Carlos the reason Mauricio dumped Luna in the first place. Rodrigo learns plenty about Luna's family but when he returns home rushes to the hospital for Esteban, who is unwell. Esteban orders Susana to spy on Luna.
Luna asks Mauricio not to hire Rodrigo. Esteban learns from Susana about Rodrigo's scheme regarding Victoria's murder. Daniela spots Boris spying on her.
